3655609 - Pending Commitment after PO was Deleted - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

If a PO is created on PR, and the PO is deleted, it is noticed there is pending commitment value in the Project Budget Report. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Delete the Purchase Order (PO) item which is relevant to a WBS element.
2. Navigate to the Project Budget Report - Overview application.
3. Select the WBS element row and choose 'View Details' to open the Project Budget Report – Line Items application.
4. Observe that the Purchasing Document and Purchasing Document Item columns show open commitments.

If PO is created on PR, and if PO is deleted, the commitment will be generated back to PR. 

To options for consideration according to the business requirement： 

• a. Convert PR item to another PO.
• b. Set PR item to closed.
