3655836 - Add Contingent Worker page not showing in Search

Symptom

  • Permission to Add Contingent Worker page is granted
  • When Searching for the page, no result is returned

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Grant Add Contingent Worker permission to permission role
  2. Search for Add Contingent Worker in Global Action Search Header
  3. No search result returned

Cause

Add Contingent Worker is available under Admin Center Tools

Resolution

  1. Go to Admin Center
  2. Select Tools and 'View All'
  3. Search for Add Contingent Worker
  4. Page will appear

Alernatively, follow the below steps to add the page to action search:

  1. Go to Configure Custom Navigation page
  2. Add a label of 'Add Contingent Worker' along with any number for Id
  3. Select internal link and provide the following URL: /xi/ui/peopleprofile/pages/newhire.xhtml?userType=CWK
  4. Select Action Search and decide on user group for permissions
  5. Save
  6. Now Add Contingent Worker is searchable in Action Search
