Symptom
- Crystal Reports for Enterprise does not connect to a specific BEX-query after the upgrade to SAP BO 4.3 and Crystal Report 14.3.
- Issue was not present in the previous version - BI 4.2
- When attempting to create a new report in Crystal Reports Designer, the connection to the BEX-query via an OLAP connection remains in a loading state indefinitely.
- Attempting to launch Crystal Reports results in the error message: "Your request cannot be processed."
- Web Intelligence (WebI) reports also fail to connect to the BEX-query via an OLAP connection, remaining in a loading state indefinitely.
- Analysis for Office (Add-in Excel) and Analysis Workspace for OLAP successfully connect to the BEX-query and return data.
- Logs from Crystal Reports Processing Servers indicate errors such as "Transport error: Communication failure (FWM 00001)" and "Connection refused."
- Semantic errors observed in CR Processing Server logs, including syntax-related issues, such as "asyncReqId=<0v3Xd2ROCBvCqFYTFmc36wieQT8EaSknC38kPJiS> reqWaitingTime=<no value> reqTotalTime=<no value> reqSentToPSS=<yyyy.mm.dd-hh:mm:ss.> openDocRefresh=<no value> dataRefresh=<no value> analysisRefresh=<no value>"
