3655967 - BBCode not working for Mobile Time Off and Timesheet

Symptom

BBCode used in message definitions works correctly in the browser UI but does not work in the mobile app, where the code is displayed instead of the intended formatting.

Environment

  • Employee Central Time Off Mobile
  • Timesheet Mobile

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Add BBCode to format message definitions for Time Off or Timesheet.
  2. Access the mobile app and attempt to initiate a time off request.
  3. Observe that the BBCode is displayed as plain text instead of applying the intended formatting.

Cause

BBCode is not supported in the Mobile Time Off and Timesheet functionality.

Resolution

  1. Replace BBCode formatting with supported HTML tags for mobile compatibility.
  2. The following HTML tags are supported across mobile timesheet and time off:
