3655999 - The "Import Group Journal Entries" application generates an error importing amounts with many decimal places

Symptom

Importing an MS Excel file using the "Import Group Journal Entries" application (F3073) with amounts having many decimal places (e.g., 7) causes the following error message:

File upload failed.

Your file cannot be uploaded because of the following errors:

  • Enter a correct amount in field Value in Local Currency.
  • An exception was raised
