3656063 - Error "Action VOID not possible; action is disabled" When Executing Void() Action of Dueclearing Business Object

Symptom

  • The `void()` action of the DueClearing Business Object cannot be executed.
  • The error message "Action VOID not possible; action is disabled" is displayed.
  • According to KBA 3214669, the `void()` action was enabled as part of Hotfix ID 1000017897 in the 2205 Hotfix Collection 2 and declared as PSM enabled.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Cause

The clearing is in a "Completed" status. The 'void()' action is only possible when the clearing status is in the "Proposed" status.

Resolution

  • Confirm the clearing status in the system. If the clearing is in "Completed" status, the `void()` action cannot be executed.
  • Perform the reset clearing action manually from the frontend.
