3656336 - Price determination does not return price maintained specifically for variant article

Symptom

User has set the Pricing Profile to '1': Variants priceable differently; propose GMaterial as ref. in the generic article, and saved sales price for the variant article in scope. Still, during the price determination (e.g. using VKP2, or any other process leveraging from function module SALES_CONDITION_READ) no price, or only the generic article's price is being determined.
