3656360 - Unable to Migrate Customers When Business Partner and Supplier Master Data Already Exists in the System

When a business partner and supplier master data already exist in the system, attempting to migrate customer data using the same business partner ID fails. The system returns the error: "Business partner has been migrated already in SAP Business ByDesign."

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration workcenter
2. Go to Overview and Search for Migration of Customers
3. Navigate to the "Migrate Customers" screen
4. Upload the migration template file
5. Execute the migration
6. Observe the error - Business partner has been migrated already in SAP Business ByDesign

As per standard system behavior, it is not possible to migrate two roles for the same business partner.

It is not possible to migration two roles for any Business Partner. In the case described above, the only option is to migration the Accounts through the Migration tool and then create Suppliers manually from the Business Partner work center using 'Create As'.
