Symptom

Variant Pricing feature in CPQ does not display the price of all attribute values, regardless of whether they have been selected.

Environment

 SAP CPQ integrated with CPS/VC.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Quote.
  2. Add any product.
  3. Clicking in the configuration, it only makes 1 call to CPS with the attributes selected. 

Cause

The expected functionality involves two CPS calls: one for the selected attribute values and another for all attribute values. The second CPS call, which returns the price for all attribute values. When the variant condition keys are missing in CPQ, the second CPS call is not triggered, which results in the characteristic values in the Configurator view not displaying prices.

Resolution

  • Variant condition keys are missing in CPQ, the second CPS call is not triggered, which results in the characteristic values in the Configurator view not displaying prices.
  • Add the variant condition keys and then re-sync the product
