• The following error is returned to the client

execute failed: Server message number=1526 severity=17 state=5 line=45 server=<SERVER> procedure=sp_cols text=Sort failure. The configure size for data cache (tempdb_cache) is not sufficient to handle the sort buffers (24) requested. Please reconfigure the data cache or sort buffers and try the command again.

• No error return to ASE error log
• sp_monitorconfig shows the following:
