3656477 - When "Enable employer compliance task and signature support" is checked, form is not assigned to the Onboardee - Onboarding

• When enabling the Enable employer compliance task and signature support from Compliance settings, the Employee signature task does not get triggered if the Employer signature step is also turned on.
• Candidate does not see the form to be signed in the Compliance E-Signature step.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

The issue occurred because the employer signature was completed before the candidate signature. This disrupted the compliance flow, as the standard process requires the employer signature task to become available only after the candidate has signed. Once the candidate signature is completed, the system automatically triggers both an email and a to-do notification for the employer to sign.

• If multiple responsible users are assigned to the employer signature task, it will not appear on the Onboarding Journey page.
• However, the task still functions correctly and can be accessed through the to-do notification bar.
• The patch for this has now been implemented for production systems.
• The patch has a tentative release of 2511p7 (2nd of December) for test environments.

Workaround / Resolution: You can resolve the issue by restarting the process using one of the following options:

Option 1: Restart the full onboarding process

• From the Onboarding Dashboard, restart the process.

Option 2: Restart only the compliance process

1. Navigate to Manage Data → Create New → Restart Compliance Process
2. Enter the onboardingProcessId: (Number of the candidate's Process ID)
3. Select the onboarding process and provide a reason
4. Save the entry

Next Steps

1. Complete the new hire (candidate) signature first.
2. After the candidate signature is done, the system will automatically notify the employer and create a to-do item for them to complete their signature.
