Symptom
- The time account overview in ESS UI displays columns for "Accrued", "Earned", "Taken", "Paid Out", and "Planned", which cannot be hidden individually.
- Users require only the "Available Balance" column to be visible to avoid confusion.

Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to Time Off in ESS UI.
- Access the time account overview for employees.
- Observe that the columns "Accrued", "Earned", "Taken", "Paid Out", and "Planned" are displayed alongside "Available Balance".
Cause
The fields "Accrued", "Earned", "Taken", "Paid Out", and "Planned" are hardcoded in the ESS UI and cannot be hidden via permissions.
Resolution

To hide the balance fields entirely, remove permissions to the time type and time account in the Overview UI as described in the Implementation Guide : Employee Self-Service User Interface (UI) | SAP Help Portal. Note that this action will hide the balance, but not the individual columns.
