3656535 - Changing the Width, or Height of a field, automatically change the other value in Crystal Reports

• Changing the Width or Height, change the other values.
• Was able to change the Width or Height in older version of Crystal Reports.
• Unable to only change the Height, or Width of a field, without the other value changing automatically in Crystal Reports. 

• SAP Crystal Reports 2020 - Support Pack 03 and above
• SAP Crystal Reports 2025

1. In Crystal Reports 2020 with Support Pack 03 or above, create a report based on any data source.
     
2. Add at least one field on the report.
     
3. Change the Width or the Height of the field.
   1. Right click on the field, and select “Size and Position”
   2. In “Object Size and Position”, take note of the values for Width and Height.
      ( For example: Width = 3, and Height = 0.6 )
   3. Change the Width, or Height with a different value.
      ( For example: Change the Width from 3, to 10 )
   4. Click “OK”
      
      
4. Notice the field Width changed to the expected value, but the Height of the field also changed, which is incorrect.
   
   
5. View the value of the Field Width and Height, to notice the other value changed incorrectly.
   1. Right click on the field, and select “Size and Position”
   2. In “Object Size and Position”, notice the the Width, or Height of the field changed incorrectly.
      
      For example: If we previously had the following values:
      - Width = 3
      - Height = 0.6
      
      And changed the Width to 10, then notice the Height automatically changed to: 1.665
      When the expectation will be for the Height to stay the same, which was: 0.6
