Performance Impact is calculated by average response time squared multiplied by number of queries. 
Performance Impact = (Avg response time)^2 * Number of Queries

This helps to identify problematic scenarios and unhealthy content. It was introduced after being proven useful in many customer cases to identify performance issues. This metric gives consideration to both complexity and frequency. The number of queries alone has limited value because a high count of queries that are fast are not a problem. The same for high average runtimes. If a query takes a long time but runs only once a week that will not likely be focus for general performance issues.
