3656567 - Illegal character in path at index 41 .../Model ID/json when using the External Activities Model Guideline Check in SAP Signavio Process Governance

In an Approval Workflow, an External Activity task has been added for the Model Guideline Check.

However, when the workflow is executed, the following error occurs.

Illegal character in path at index 41 : https://<region>.signavio.com/p/model/Model ID/json

The field for the Model Id (Input) has been keyed incorrectly or does not exist.

Key in the correct field for the Model ID.

For the workflow, go to the Details tab, then click on Fields overview.
Find the correct Text field for the: Model ID

Add this field to the Model Id Input.
Alternately, select the field from the drop-down menu.
