3656719 - Error when Scheduling Jobs in "Schedule Project Accounting Jobs" App

Symptom

When using template "Actual Overhead Calculation: Projects (SAP)" to schedule job in "Schedule Project Accounting Jobs" app, the following errors are displayed:

  • Error in method check_and_adjust
  • An exception of type 'CX_SY_ITAB_LINE_NOT_FOUND' occurred, that was not caught anywhere in the call hierarchy. It was not handled locally or declared using a RAISING clause
  • Job couldn't be scheduled

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open "Schedule Project Accounting Jobs" app and click on Create
  2. Select job template "Actual Overhead Calculation: Projects (SAP)" and fill in job name
  3. Click on Schedule, errors display

Cause

When scheduling the job, only Step 1 "Template Selection" is filled, while Step 2 "Scheduling Options" and Step 3 "Parameters" are missing.

Resolution

Complete all three steps in the template, then schedule the job.
