3657083 - Is It Possible To Change the Translation of : Workflow Delegation Groups

You would receive an application error when Changing Translation of Workflow Delegation Groups

Example Chan: Auto Delegate Group: All Others (ALL_OTHERS) 

The application error id would be accompanied by Error = The All Others group (external code: ALL_OTHERS) is automatically maintained by the system. It’s not allowed to be edited or deleted by users.

1. Go to Manage Data
2. Select  Auto Delegate Groups - Select ALL_OTHERS
3. take action
4. click on name 
5. Example for German (Germany) : Alle anderen
6. Add New German Translation
7. Save
8. Error = The All Others group (external code: ALL_OTHERS) is automatically maintained by the system. It’s not allowed to be edited or deleted by users.  

It's the expected behavior that reminds error when try to edit "All Others" including the translation.

Behavior of "All Others" Label in Auto Delegate Groups

• The "All Others" group name is system-reserved and cannot be edited directly, including its translations.

• However, you can customize the translation before the Auto Delegate Group feature is enabled:

  1. When no auto delegate groups exist in the system, upload a customized translation via Manage Languages.

  2. Use the following label key format in the translation file:

"Key","de_DE"
"ECT_HRIS_AUTO_DELEGATE_GROUP_ALL_OTHERS_NAME","Alle anderen"

After creating the first auto delegate group, the system will generate "All Others" using the customized label.

Important Limitation:

• If "All Others" already exists, uploading a new translation will not update it.

• To apply a new translation in this case, you must:

  1. Delete all auto delegate groups.

  2. Upload the customized translation.

  3. Re-create the auto delegate groups.

• Not recommended if auto delegate groups are already in use, since deleting them will invalidate any related configurations.
