Symptom
The Document Compliance Monitor view displays invoice documents which are not supposed to be sent via the Peppol Exchange integration.
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to the Customer Invoicing workcenter.
- Go to the Document Compliance Monitor view.
- Search for the ID ABC (Where ABC represents the Customer Invoice ID, which is not sent via Peppol)
- Open the Invoice from the Source Document ID column.
- Open the Account XYZ master data (Where XYZ represents the ID of the account from the document ABC).
- Click on View All.
There is no field specifying the "Peppol Participant Identifier". Therefore, the invoices for this account should not be displayed on the Document Compliance Monitor view.
Cause
Under the Business Configuration workcenter, the activity "Document Compliance Configuration" is configured to generate a Document Compliance reference for all of the Customer Invoices from the company DEF (DEF is the company in the document ABC).
- Navigate to the Business Configuration workcenter.
- Go to the Overview view.
- Open the Document Compliance Configuration activity.
The following functionality is active:
- Organizational Center ID: DEF
- Source Document Type Code: 28 - Customer Invoice.
- Document Compliance Process: PEPPOLEINV - PEPPOL E-Invoicing
Therefore, even though some accounts do not have the Peppol ID and its invoice documents are not sent via the integration, they might appear under the Document Compliance Monitor view due to the company, which is specified on the activity settings.
Resolution
This is the expected system behavior.
In order to stop the generation of the Document Compliance References, the functionalities can be either removed or deactivated through the Business Configuration workcenter.
