3657331 - Unable to run scheduled dump on db13 in ASE - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Scheduled dump on DB13 fails to execute.
  • Error message: "Backup Server: 4.135.2.1: Invalid Device: you cannot dump to or load from a directory, '/backup/DumpDatabase'."
  • Error message: "Backup Server: 4.41.1.1: Creating new disk file /backup/*.dmp. Backup Server: 4.141.2.40: [11] The 'open' call failed for database/archive device while working on stripe device '/backup/*.dmp' with error number 13 (Permission denied)."
  • Insufficient free space available for the database device.
