3657384 - API Credentials screen in First Advantage Background Check Integration Settings keeps loading - Recruiting Management

When accessing the First Advantage Background Check Integration Settings then navigating to the API Credentials page, the page keeps loading and it doesn't allow setting up the credentials.

1. Log into the instance
2. Go to Admin Center
3. Access the page First Advantage Background Check Integration Settings
4. Go to API Credentials
5. The page keeps loading, and it doesn't allow to set up the information

There are two possible causes.

1. "Enable SFAPI Webservices" checkbox under Recruiting is disabled.
   OR
2.  The instance was recently refreshed and UUID mappings are copied from source which is causing the page not to load.

For Cause 1.

To be able to enter the API credentials, SFAPI needs to be enabled under Recruiting. This is a pre-requisite, as it is described in the implementation guide: Integrating Recruiting with First Advantage for Background Checks.

To fix the issue, the checkbox "Enable SFAPI Webservices" in provisioning -> compant setting must be enabled.

For Cause 2.

Sometimes when instance refresh takes place, UUID mappings are copied from source to target instance. For an immediate solution, a support ticket is required and engineering will run a script to delete the UUID mappings in the instance, afterwards the API credentials can be configured.
