3657398 - Preview report options are not working in Plateau Report Designer tool

After importing the custom report into the Plateau Report Designer tool, user unable to preview the report, as encountered an error message: "HTTP ERROR: 500. Problem accessing /viewer/frameset. Reason: Server Error. Powered by Jetty."

1. Access the Plateau Report Design (PRD) tool.
2. Import custom report.
3. Select 'Run'-> View Report-> Choose the available options
4. Observe an error in the browser stating: "HTTP ERROR: 500. Problem accessing /viewer/frameset. Reason: Server Error. Powered by Jetty".

The issue is related to Java and occurs specifically with custom report's preview in the browser from the PRD.

This issue falls outside the scope of our support, as it pertains to a custom report's preview in the browser from the PRD (Plateau Report Designer) tool, rather than the LMS application.

To address this issue, we recommend the following options:

• You can still build the report in PRD and import it into LMS, even if the preview functionality does not work for reports.
• You may consider reaching out to your IT team to explore potential solutions. Alternatively, if you require further assistance from SAP, you can contact the Professional Services team to evaluate the feasibility of implementing a fix.
