3657486 - Manage Pending Hires – Event/Event Reason field blank for Internal Hire when Onboarding is skipped

In Manage Pending Hires, the Event/Event Reason field appears blank for an Internal Hire scenario where Onboarding is skipped.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Navigate to "Manage Pending Recruits".
2. Select the "Recruiting" tab.
3. Open the internal recruit record.
4. Observe that the "Event" field is blank.

• For internal hires, an event is mandatory, and the event reason is selected based on the chosen event.
• Since different events have different reasons, the system requires this mapping.
• Currently, events are not supported for internal hires from RCM.
• As a result, the event reason does not appear when Onboarding is skipped.

• This behavior is expected at present.
• The event and event reason must be provided manually when processing an internal hire without Onboarding.
