Symptom

A triangular warning icon appears on the app tile when an application is added to Favorites in 'My Home'.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to 'My Home' in the Fiori Launchpad.
  2. Under the 'Apps' section click the tab 'Favorites'.
  3. Click 'Add Apps' and select application e.g. "Export Master Data - Products".
  4. Observe the triangular warning icon appearing on the app tile.

Cause

The warning icon is being displayed because the application being selected is now deprecated.

Resolution

Note that the warning icon signifies the app's deprecated status.

No immediate action is required for functionality and the app can still be used safely.
