3657640 - ERR TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS error during login in SAP SuccessFactors

Symptom

  • The browser displays the error message: "This page isn't working at the moment. (SuccessFactors domain) redirected you too many times. Try deleting the cookies for this site. ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS."
  • Consistent error when logging in twice using the URL in different tabs.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the URL in the following format https://<SFbaseURL>/sf/login?company=<CompanyID> in a browser.
  2. Attempt to log in twice using the same URL in different tabs.
  3. Observe the consistent occurrence of the error message "ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS."

 

Cause

The parameter /sf/ causes the redirections

Resolution

Use the main login URL in the following format to access the system: https://<SFbaseURL>/login?company=<CompanyID>
