3657664 - Non-Recurring Pay Components Deleted When Employee is Rehired On Old Employment - Onboarding

• During the onboarding process for certain rehire candidates, historical Non-Recurring Pay Components (NRPCs) may not be retained.
• This issue occurs specifically for rehire candidates with old employment.
• There is currently no automated monitoring to detect these deletions before payroll processing.

 SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Login to SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding instance.
2. Proxy as the relevant HR or Onboarding user.
3. Navigate to Manage Pending Hires or the Rehire Validation To-Do Tile.
4. Identify a candidate who is a Rehire with Old Employment. Initiate or continue the Review Rehire Data step.
5. Observe the Non-Recurring Pay Components (NRPCs) section:
6. Some previously mapped or historical NRPCs may disappear or show as blank.

Expected behavior

When performing a rehire with old employment from RCM in SAP SuccessFactors:

• Historical Non-Recurring Pay Components (NRPC) data is not retained.

• All previous NRPC records from the employee’s prior employment are permanently removed.

• Historical bonus payments, one-time allowances, and other non-recurring compensation components are not preserved.

• Only new NRPC data entered during the rehire process will be maintained.

Configuration Check:

• Ensure that any required NRPCs are entered during the rehire process.

• Verify system configuration: Navigate to Manage Business Configuration → Pay Comp Non Recurring → Value Field → Log Read Access and set it to false/none.
