3657686 - Error in bw/4 hana migration: data sources not released for odp replication

Symptom

  • During the BW/4 HANA migration process, the error " &DataSource& not found or not released for ODP in system" is encountered at the step 'Define Object Mapping and Store Object List'.
  • The data source exists in the source system and is marked as 'Released for ODP' (ROOSATTR-EXPOSE_EXTERNAL = 'X').
  • Test data extraction using the program RODPS_REPL_TEST confirms data availability for the data source.
  • Source System does not support ODP extraction for context SAPI
