3657704 - Exam remains unlocked when "Complete content in sequence" is enabled

Symptom

A quiz remains unlocked when the user is taking the content, despite the settings requiring the course to be completed first

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create an item >
  2. On online settings, add content package and a quiz >
  3. Enable "Complete content in sequence" >
  4. Assign the course to a user >
  5. When the user takes the course, the quiz is unlocked even if the content is incomplete

Cause

The Engineering team identified that this scenario is being caused by a defect that was identified in the exam sequencing mode.

Resolution

A fix for this scenario was developed, and will be delivered on the 2605 release,  as per the schedule available at Product Release & Road Map Information and 2025 VSaaS Upgrade and Patch Schedule.
