3657741 - DB6 - SQL2048N error during online backup in SAP IBM Db2 11.5.9.0 FP7 Linux Unix Windows [LUW]

Symptom

  • The online backup operation fails with error message: "SQL2048N An error occurred while accessing object 'DMS.DATA'. Reason code: '5'."
  • Offline backup completes successfully.
  • Diagnostic logs (db2diag.log) indicate error: "Unexpected end of file was reached" and "Object access error".
  • Tablespaces are marked as "Dirty".
  • db2dart utility reports errors related to incorrect container sizes.
