3657829 - Diagram opens without commenting option in SAP Signavio Collaboration Hub

Users invite others to comment on diagrams, but when the link is clicked, the diagram opens without the option to comment.

1. Invite a user to comment on a diagram in SAP Signavio Process Manager.
2. Click on the provided link to open the diagram.
3. Observe that the diagram opens without the commenting option.

1. There are two possible reasons why the comment function may not be available:

   1. Comments are globally disabled

      • Even if you open a diagram yourself and cannot access the comment function, it may be turned off system-wide.

      • To check this, go to Setup in the Explorer and open Manage general Configuration.

      • Under Portal → Comments, verify whether comments have been globally disabled.

   2. Comments are disabled for a specific audience group

      • If only a certain group of users is affected, the comment function is likely disabled for that specific audience group.

      • To confirm:

        • Open the Collaboration Hub and click the gear icon on the left side to access Settings.

        • In the left-hand menu, open the Comments settings.

        • Use the dropdown menu to select the audience group and check whether comments are enabled or disabled via the checkbox.
