3657941 - To Be Hired field not updated in position after user is assigned or unassigned from position

Symptom

The To Be Hired field in position is not getting updated even though all configurations are done correctly.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Position Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to the profile of any user.
  2. Click on Actions-> Change Job and Compensation Information.
  3. Change the position of the user.
  4. Check if To Be Hired is updated in the position.
  5. To be hired is not updated when user is assigned or unassigned from position.

Cause

There are mandatory fields that are missing in position. Hence system cannot update the To Be Hired field.

Resolution

  • Open the position in Manage data and add value for the mandatory field.
  • The field causing the issue can be identified from Admin Alerts page also. You can check under Admin Alerts-> Position Follow-up Processes.
