3657986 - Withholding tax tabs are missing in the Company Code of supplier in Maintain Business Partner app

Symptom

  • The withholding tax tabs are not present within the Company Code of a supplier in the Maintain Business Partner app.
  • The create button under the withholding tax section of the vendor master is greyed out.

Environment

S/4 HANA Public Cloud Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Maintain Business Partner app.
  2. Select supplier (FIN).
  3. Navigate to company code and select the company code.
  4. Observe that the supplier withholding tax tabs are not present.

Cause

Extended withholding tax is not active for the Company Code.

Resolution

  1. Enable the extended withholding tax functionality in the system.
  2. Perform the configuration via SSCUI:
    SSCUI ID 104228 - Activate Extended Withholding Tax.
