3658346 - Transfer of direct reports is not working on Termination Imports after 1H 2025

Symptom

The direct reports are not transferred on termination import after 1H 2025. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Position Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Import the termination details for a manager.
  2. Check the job information of the direct reports.
  3. Direct reports are not transferred to new manager.

Cause

This is a behavior change in the 1H 2025 release.

Resolution

After 1H 2025, the setting 'Defaulting of the Manager or Position and Hierarchy Adaptation After Imports' should be set as YES under Position Management Settings-> Imports tab for the direct reports to be transferred correctly during termination import.
