3658356 - How do I change URLs from HTTP to HTTPS in my SP-initiated SAML configuration in SAP Ariba?

Symptom

I want to update the  URLs in your SAP Ariba SP-initiated SAML configuration from HTTP to HTTPS to improve the security of your Single Sign-On (SSO) integration.
For example, I want to replace URLs such as:

  • http://<[REALM_NAME]>.procurement-<[DATA CENTER]>.ariba.com
  • http://<[REALM_NAME]>.sourcing-<[DATA CENTER]>.ariba.com

with the HTTPS equivalents:

  • https://<[REALM_NAME]>.procurement-<[DATA CENTER]>.ariba.com
  • https://<[REALM_NAME]>.sourcing-<[DATA CENTER]>.ariba.com
