3658419 - What is the difference between 'suspend route to' and 'suspend route from'? - SRS

Symptom

  • The route is created to use for a connection from upstream Replication Server(PRS)/src_replication_server to a downstream Replication Server(RRS)/dest_replication_server.
  • To suspend a route from PRS to RRS, there are two different RS commands:
    1. suspend route to  <dest_replication_server>
    2. suspend route from <src_replication_server>      /* When a route is suspended, the Replication Server will block the message sender in the source Replication Server and will not receive any message from the source Replication Server. */
