3658440 - Request for Quotation Interactive Forms not Editable

Symptom

Request for Quotation (RFQ) is outputted via interactive form, however the interactive form is not active for modifications. 

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sourcing and Contracting work center.
  2. Navigate to the RFQs and Quotes view.
  3. Create a new RFQ with mandatory information.
  4. Select the interactive form template and the output channel as E-mail in the "You Can Also" section.
  5. Release the RFQ by selecting "Send to Bidders".
  6. Once the RFQ published, go to the Output History tab.
  7. Select the outputted interactive PDF form, the form is opened in the browser and not editable.
  8. Download the form from the browser and open it with PDF reader, the interactive fields are not editable. 

Cause

The form downloaded from the Output History of RFQ is a new PDF form which generated in real time in preview version, not the original interactive form. 

The interactive functionality is not applicable in the preview version.

Resolution

When RFQs sent to bidders, system sends the original interactive form as an attachment via E-mail to the recipients maintained in the Output Settings.   

In order to edit interactive form, download the original form from the E-mail attachment, instead of the Output History tab in the RFQ.
