Error occurred when running Singapore GST Transaction Listing(IAF) report, stating "check duplicate data: documents xxxxxx, xxxxxx are identical with InvoiceNo = xxx InvoiceData  = xxx, LineNo = xxx...".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the "Run Statutory Reports" app.
2. Generate the Singapore GST Transaction Listing(IAF) report.
3. Observe the error message in the log stating stating "check duplicate data: documents xxxxxx, xxxxxx are identical with InvoiceNo = xxx InvoiceData  = xxx, LineNo = xxx...".

According to the IRAS guidelines, in the Singapore GST Transaction Listing(IAF), documents with the same supplier/customer name, invoice date, invoice number, tax line ID, and product description but without values in tax group, permit number, and document date, they will be treated as duplicated entries.

If two items in a journal entry match the above characteristics, an error will also be triggered.

This message was supposed to be a warning, not an error message. It will not affect the submission of the report, so you can choose to ignore this information.

Or the problem can be solved by the following steps.

1. Merge the duplicate documents/ line items.
2. Rerun the Singapore GST Transaction Listing(IAF) report after merging the duplicate documents.
