3658597 - "Failed to save changes. Please try again later", Unable to save Performance form in Latest Form Experience

• User encounters the error message: "Failed to save changes. Please try again later." when attempting to save changes in the performance form in Latest Form Experience
• Internal error message show when try to route to next step.
• The issue may be specific to one user and does not occur for other users or templates.
• Switching browsers (e.g., from Google Chrome to Microsoft Edge) and clearing cache does not resolve the issue.
• There are no Required Fields missing in the form.
• Issue is not present in Legacy Form Experience.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. Proxy as the affected user.
2. Open the performance form using the provided document ID.
3. Attempt to save the form with required fields filled out.
4. Observe the error message: "Failed to save changes. Please try again later."

Possible root causes:

• The input contained specific symbols, such as ' and "pushing"<, which triggered the SQL Injection policy in the Web Application Firewall (WAF).
• The WAF (Web Application Firewall) construed the input as a potential SQL statement, resulting in the request being blocked.
