3658710 - Sales Organization Field in Outlook Integration

Symptom

During opportunity creation in the Outlook SAP Sales cloud side pane, when selecting a sales organization or sales unit, it displays all organizations even though the user is only assigned to one.

Environment

SAP Sales Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open groupware side pane in Outlook.
  2. Click on + button and select opportunity entity.
  3. Select sales unit or sales organization field dropdown.
  4. Result: All sales orgs are shown.

Resolution

Sales organization/Sales Unit field is expected to show all sales orgs in the dropdown selection of Outlook side pane. That's currently system behavior.

The Customer Influence portal is the proper channel for requirements of changes in the system behavior. There, other customers can also vote for the idea and depending on the demand from the customer community, and feasibility the developers will evaluate and plan accordingly for a possible implementation of this request.
