3658826 - Unexpected behavior with accounts.isAvailableLoginID endpoint in SAP CDC implementation

Symptom

  • The accounts.isAvailableLoginID endpoint in SAP CDC (Gigya) implementation returns `true` for a loginID that is already present in CDC.
  • The endpoint also returns `true` when an empty or invalid loginID is passed.
  • Verification via the Identity Query Tool and accounts.search API confirms the user exists in CDC.
