3658906 - One-Time Payment Record Disappears After Field Changes In Workflow Update - Employee Central

Symptom

  • One-time payment record becomes blank after changes are made to other fields in the workflow update page.
  • No rules are triggered to hide the field.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to the workflow request for Internal Hire;
  2. Click "Update";
  3. Observe that the one-time payment record is visible;
  4. Change a field in Job Information or Compensation Information;
  5. Notice that the one-time payment record disappears.

Cause

This is a know issue that planned to be fixed in the 2H2025 release. 

Resolution

Workaround:

  • When the approver observes changes in the page are removing Pay Component Non Recurring, re-enter the removed information before approve/save;
  • Restrict permissions to update workflows;
