3659372 - How to Configure Partner Functions as Mandatory for a Supplier Account Group

When creating a supplier master using the account group SUPL, the partner functions are not automatically assigned. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to Maintain Business Partner app.
2. Create a Business Partner as Supplier.
3. Navigate to Purchasing tab.
4. Add purchasing data.
5. Observe that partner function is not automatically assigned.

The partner functions are not configured as mandatory in the supplier account group configuration activity. Without this setting, the system does not assign them automatically.

Follow below steps for Partner Functions as Mandatory in Manage Your Solution' app:

1. Open 'Manage Your Solution' app.
2. Navigate to 'Configure Your Solution'.
3. Search for the configuration activity '103125 - Define Partner Schemas in Supplier Master Record'.
4. Display & select the relevant project.
5. Select the required partner functions and mark them as mandatory.
6. Save the configuration.
7. When creating a supplier, the system will now automatically assign the mandatory partner functions.

Incase while using SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC) :

1. Log on to the project experience in SAP Central Business Configuration.
2. Select the relevant project.
3. Navigate to the configurations activity tab. 
4. Search for the configuration activity '103125 - Define Partner Schemas in Supplier Master Record'.
5. Select the configuration activity to navigate directly to the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system.
6. Display & select the relevant project.
7. Select the required partner functions and mark them as mandatory.
8. Save the configuration.
9. When creating a supplier, the system will now automatically assign the mandatory partner functions.
