3659435 - Origin profit center derivation logic in CATS posting - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Need to know the origin profit center derivation logic in CATS posting because it shows different value with profit center when the posting date is different with journal entry date. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

On the one hand, the Profit Center of the Journal Entry is derived from the Cost Center of the CATS posting (valid on the Service Rendered Date). The Origin Profit Center on the other hand is always determined from the Cost Center of the Employee based on the Posting Date of the Journal Entry. 

Normally, there will be no deviation between Profit Center and Origin Profit Center. Only, if the Journal Entry posting is moved to a different period, such a deviation may occur.
