3659471 - How to differentiate dispatch times for different output channels.

Symptom

Different Purchase Order output channels are desired to have different dispatch times.

For example, the EDI output is desired to be generated immediately after PO creation and approval, while the Print output is intended to be triggered manually later.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Resolution

    To differentiate dispatch times for different channels:

    1. Set the Dispatch time in the Output Type to "1 - Immediately".
    2. In the Channel settings, configure different Dispatch times for each channel. For instance:
    • Set EDI to "1 - Immediately".
    • Set Print to "2 - Scheduled".

    For the Scheduled channel's output, manually execute it through the app 'Print Scheduled Purchase Order'.
