3659541 - Connection issues when creating migration project using the approach "Migrate Data Directly from SAP System" - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When using the approach "Migrate Data Directly from SAP System" to create migration project in Migrate Your Data app, encounters one of the following connection issue:

• The RFC connection is not visible in "Connection to Source System" field.
• After selecting any of the RFC connection, receiving a message "Cannot connect to source system with communication arrangement XXX. Contact your system administrator for support.".
• Error message: "Failed to read company codes using source connection name XXX"

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Migrate Data Directly from SAP System

• The latest available support package version of DMIS 2011 add-on is not installed in the source system.
• The outbound service user does not exist in source system or missing the role SAP_DMIS_MC_DT_REMOTE.
• Some of the settings in set-up instructions for "Data Migration to SAP S/4HANA from SAP (BH3)" are missing or not followed correctly.

Install the latest available support package version of DMIS 2011 add-on in the source system. 

Follow all of the settings in set-up instructions for "Data Migration to SAP S/4HANA from SAP (BH3)". In specific, make sure the following points are configured correctly:

• SAP_COM_0574 – SAP BTP Connectivity Service – On-Premise Integration communication arrangement is activated.
• Within the Cloud Connector, a set of function modules which can be called from the SAP S/4HANA system in the SAP ERP system is defined exactly same with the set-up guide "2.1.2 Configure SAP Cloud Connector".  
• Communication system and communication arrangement for SAP_COM_0816 set up properly.
• The communication arrangement field "Name Displayed in Migration Cockpit" is added.
• The outbound communication user should exists in the source system and the role SAP_DMIS_MC_DT_REMOTE is assigned.
