Symptom

The "End" field in a Financial Transaction is not editable.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the "Manage Financial Transaction" app.
  2. Select the relevant transaction.
  3. Click "Edit" to access the transaction details.
  4. Attempt to modify the "End" field (e.g., change the date to 04.11.2024).
  5. Observe that the system does not allow the field to be edited.

Cause

Resolution

  1. Open the "Manage Financial Transaction" app and edit the relevant transaction.
  2. Navigate to the "Cash Flow" tab and reverse the Flow Type "9120".
  3. Save the changes.
  4. Use the "Process Business Transactions(TPM10)" app to reverse the transaction again.
