3659652 - "SslHandshakeTimeoutException: handshake timed out" error in outbound CPI iFlow

Symptom

  • The following error occurs while executing outbound CPI iFlow in the Monitor Message Processing:

    Remote server returned response code -1 and error message Error while opening connection to the server: java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: java.util.concurrent.TimeoutException: Request timeout to <remote host>/<remote host>:443 after <time> ms, cause: java.util.concurrent.TimeoutException: Request timeout to <remote host>/<remote host>:443 after <time> ms

  • The remote server does not receive CPI's server certificate in its jumbo frame.

  • MSS in customer's network is set higher than 1500 bytes.
