3660008 - HTTP 403 Forbidden while calling Cloud ALM for SCC monitoring

Symptom

After setting up SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) to monitor an SAP Cloud Connector(SCC), following error is perceived returned from the ALM tool.

The connection test has been failed.
Reason: SAP Cloud Connector: [403] Error during the URL - 403 Forbidden on GET request "https://<xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xxxxxx.xxxxxxxx>.hana.ondemand.com/v1/sapccrevproxy/v1/exposed": Access denied to system <target host set from ALM tool>:80. In case this was a valid request, ensure to expose the system correctly in your Cloud Connector.
