Symptom

  • Deployment of a CAP application using PostgreSQL fails.
  • Error message: "Dropping tables is not supported (in artifact: 'cds.outbox.Messages')" appears during deployment.
  • The issue persists even when the `cds.outbox.Messages` table is not intentionally used or referenced in the application model or codebase.
  • Deployment logs indicate that the CDS deploy process does not terminate correctly, despite all processes finishing successfully.
