3660229 - Local tables are not visible in Repository of Task Chain creation in Datasphere

Symptom

Local tables are visible in the specific space, but do not appear in the task chain repository search tab of the same space.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the SAP Datasphere and navigate to the Data Builder section.
  2. Select the relevant space.
  3. Create a new Task Chain or open a created Task Chain.
  4. Search for local tables in the repository tab.
  5. Observe that the local tables are not visible in the repository tab despite being accessible in the same space.

Cause

The local table is not configured as a delta capture table, and only local tables with "Delete Records with Change Type 'Deleted'" functionality can be viewed as repository objects in task chains.

Resolution

  1. Ensure that the local table is configured as a delta capture table, as:
  2. Notice that local table is with activity "Delete Records with Change Type 'Deleted'" in Task Chain.
