Symptom

From CE2508, in app "Actual Cost Rate Calculation - Cost Centers(KSII)", Company Code Currency (Object Currency) or Freely Defined Currency are selectable for 'Iterate Amounts Independently'. Need to know how it impacts the calculation result such as in Company Code Currency.

Resolution

As introduced in Actual Cost Rate Calculation - Cost Centers | SAP Help Portal, 

The Actual Cost Rate Calculation - Cost Centers app (KSII) always calculates the activity price in the Global Currency (Controlling Area Currency) amount first.

The processing option Independent Currency Iteration controls how the Company Code Currency (Object Currency) or Freely Defined Currency amount is calculated. For example:
  • If the iteration option is not selected, the amount is determined from the activity price fixed in the Global Currency. The use of different currencies means that the costs in the non-global currencies may not be credited completely, and rounding-off differences will remain.
  • If the iteration option is selected, the calculation iterates independently. The costs in the activity price are therefore credited completely.
